The Small Batch Difference

Imagine a chocolate factory. A really big, really industrial factory. We’re talking huge buildings with smoke-stacks, here.

You might think that’s where chocolate comes from, and in most cases, you’d be right. In this factory, chocolate is made in mass. When you’re dealing with truckloads of cocoa beans, you’re worried about quantity, not quality. When you’re turning out thousands of chocolate bars every hour, you have to think about preservatives and getting the lowest price on milk and how much wax filler you can get in the mix and still have it kind of taste like chocolate.

Some chocolate, though, comes from somewhere else.

Some chocolate comes from Lula’s.

Lula’s makes all our chocolates, sweets, and treats in small batches. What does that mean? It means we’re free to be really picky about using the best natural, preservative-free ingredients available. It means each batch is under the expert attention of a dedicated Lula’s chocolate artist. It means we’re making quality, not quantity, and it’s a difference you can taste.
